1. Battery Box
A battery box is a container or place where all the parts of the battery are placed. Aside from being a container, the battery box also functions as a housing that protects all parts of the battery from impact.
2. Battery Plate (positive and negative)
Battery plates play a role in the process of chemical reactions when the battery works. This plate has two pieces, the positive plate and the negative plate. Negative plates made of lead / lead / lead with Pb gray chemical elements. While the positive plate is made of lead dioxide with PbO2 . Or a mixture of lead and oxygen with brown.
3. Separator Plate
Separator plate serves to block the positive and negative plates. Both of these plates must be sealed so there is no short circuit, because if that happens then the chemical reaction will not take place. This separator is made of insulator material that is able to withstand electric current, besides that the separator surface is also made porous to allow electrolyte solution to flow from the positive plate to negative or vice versa.
4. Cell Separator
Cell separator or also called cell partitioning is a component that separates each cell. As mentioned above, one battery unit consists of 6 cells. And each cell will be separated by a cell separator. Unlike the separator plate, cell partitions don’t have the slightest gap. So, each cell has an individual electrolyte solution. Therefore, in one has 6 caps.
5. Cell Connector
Cell connector is a conductor object that will connect the plate between cells in series. Like the picture above, this connector will connect the negative plate in cell one with a positive plate in cell two and so on.
6. Electrolyte Solution
Electrolyte solutions in wet batteries generally use a solution of H2SO4 or a solution between water and sulfate ions. The function of this sulfuric acid solution is as a substance that will react in the battery.
7. Battery Pole
The battery pole (pole) is a conductor attached to the end of the battery plate. As we know, 6 cells in the battery will be arranged in series. And the end of the circuit must be a positive and negative plate.
8. Ventilation Cover
The vent cover is the cover that is right above the cell. There are two closing functions, namely as a place to fill the electrolyte solution in each battery cell and as ventilation in each cell when a chemical reaction occurs.
